Erie Times-News Breakout Female Track and Field Athlete of the Week: Grace Trucilla, Villa Maria

Grace Trucilla

Villa Maria freshman Grace Trucilla already is making an impact at the varsity level. Trucilla won three events in a sweep of East and Strong Vincent this past week.

She picked up an individual win in the 400 before running a leg in the winning 1,600 and 3,200 relay teams. She then took third in the 800 at the Hermitage Invitational.

The talented distance runner also had a strong freshman season on the cross country team.

The Victors are starting to build a contending track and field team for the future, and Trucilla could be a big part of their success.
