Erie Times-News Breakout Male Track and Field Athlete of the Week: Tyler Davis, North East

Tyler Davis

The North East track and field team looks like one of District 10’s top programs once again, and Tyler Davis is a big reason why the boys team is having a successful season.

The senior speedster won the 110-meter hurdles, high jump and triple jump while running in the winning 1,600 relay team against Union City and Girard.

He then won the 110 hurdles, triple jump, long jump and high jump in a sweep of Seneca and Fairview on Wednesday.

The Grapepickers are traditionally strong in distance events, but Davis gives them strength in other events.
