Cathedral Prep’s Williams could join Terry at Michigan State

About two weeks ago, Cathedral Prep junior quarterback Damion Terry verbally committed to Michigan State.

Now a recruiting website is suggesting that Prep junior defensive back Delton Williams soon might join Terry as a Spartan.

Tom Matthews of EagleAction.com, a Boston College-related website affiliated with rivals.com, wrote a story Monday suggesting that Williams could be bound for Michigan State.

Boston College is one of a dozen major-college programs that have made Williams a scholarship offer. Michigan State, Penn State, Pitt and Nebraska are among the others.

Williams is a 6-foot 2-inch, 195-pound safety who also plays running back and returns kicks.
