The Cochranton boys volleyball team won its first match 24-26, 25-20 and 25-17 over unranked Holy Redeemer this morning in the PIAA Class AA tournament at Penn State. The Cardinals will likely need only one more win to get into the PIAA semifinals on Saturday. Cochranton, ranked No. 6 in the state, will take on No. 3 Ambridge at 12:20 p.m. and No. 5 Dover at 3:20 p.m.
