According to the Prep Baseball Report, Titusville standout pitcher Adam Bleday has committed to the University of Virginia. One of the top left-handed pitching prospects in the state, Bleday had a big junior season with a 7-1 record and a 0.95 ERA. He struck out 123 batters and walked only 24 in 66 1/3 innings this past spring.
Bleday, who is also a standout swimmer, was named an all-district pitcher and was voted to the all-region first team as an outfielder and pitcher. He was also voted the region pitcher of the year and had 23 strikeouts in a nine-inning win over Youngsville.
