Outlook: Central Tech struggled in a loaded region last year and after minimal graduation losses, the Falcons are looking to improve on their two-win season. Amber Costello is the only loss to graduation for Central, while Rachel Warnshuis, Ashley Petterson and Samantha Cornelius are back this season. The Falcons have a tough road to climb this season, moving up to Class AAA. Central will need to use its experience from last year and get support from several underclassmen to make a serious run at the playoff spot. McDowell is likely earning one of the District 10 Class AAA playoff berths, meaning Central will have to get past East, Mercyhurst Prep and Strong Vincent. The Falcons play East Sept. 25 and Oct. 18, Mercyhurst Prep on Sept. 20 and Oct. 16 and Vincent on Sept. 18 and Oct. 11
