Weibel helped the Tigers to two wins over the weekend. The junior scored a hat trick Friday in Fairview’s 12-3 win over Mechanicsburg at the Cumberland Valley Screaming Eagle Invitational.
She recorded a second hat trick in the Tigers’ 10-0 win against Pottsville Saturday. She also scored a goal in Fairview’s 8-2 loss to Hazelton in the same tourney.
Weibel, a utility player, is in her third year on Fairview’s water polo team and is a team captain.
“She’s a great leader for the team and she’s a great student,” Fairview coach Kyle Figaski said.
Weibel is second in the team in scoring this season with 10 goals.
She is also a diver for Fairview’s swimming and diving team.
