Dickson has become a leader for the Cardinals this season. The junior middle hitter has starred in three Region 2 matches. She helped Cochranton go 3-0 and grab a share of first place while piling up 38 kills, 22 digs and 22 aces in those three matches.
A talented all-around player who has a strong serve, Dickson was particularly effective in a five-game win over Saegertown last week and a win over Youngsville on Sept. 11. Her contributions also were key to the Cardinals winning the Grove City Tournament on Saturday.
“This year, she’s really stepped up into the leadership role,” Cochranton coach Marci Malliard said. “Just the way she carries herself out on the floor, she somebody that we can go to and count on.”
