The McDowell boys soccer team entered the season with several big-time scorers lost to graduation.
Eldin Sabic might be the answer coach Jamie Smith is looking for. Sabic, a junior forward, has seven goals in eight matches this season, including four in a 9-1 win over Strong Vincent.
He also had the only goal in a 1-0 win over St. Francis (N.Y.) earlier this season.
McDowell will need plenty of offense to knock Cathedral Prep off the top of Class AAA in District 10, and Sabic could contribute to a Trojans run.
