Erie Times-News Breakout Girls Volleyball Player of the Week: Molly Regan, General McLane

Molly Regan

Molly Regan is helping the General McLane girls volleyball team in multiple ways. Aside from recording 24 assists in the Lancers’ win over Girard on Sept. 20, she also has excelled as a server.

“She is serving really, really tough for us now,” General McLane coach Heather Karns said of Regan. “She’s been working really hard at spreading her sets around and
(has been) working really well with our hitters.”

Her play doesn’t end there. Karns said the junior setter is starting to hit in addition to setting.

“She works very hard all the time,” Karns said. “She is a big asset to our team.”

Regan has helped the Lancers
to a 4-2 overall record and a 4-1 Region 5 mark.
