Erie Times-News Breakout Girls Volleyball Player of the Week: Meghan Uht, Harbor Creek

Meghan Uht

The sophomore middle hitter has been “killing” it on the court this season. Uht racked up 17 kills in three wins for Harbor Creek last week.

She had six kills in the Huskies’ Oct. 1 victory against Iroquois, five kills the next night in a win over Central Tech and six more kills in Harbor Creek’s win over Mercyhurst Prep on Oct. 4. Uht also recorded seven digs over the three games.

“She’s a kid who has worked extremely hard to be where she is now,” Harbor Creek coach Ryan Smock said. “She’s made significant improvements from last year to this year.”

It certainly showed last week.
