The Mercyhurst Prep girls tennis team, the first of any kind from District 10 to win a PIAA title, arrived back at the school early Sunday afternoon with the 2012 Class AA trophy.
Coached by Mercyhurst graduate and two-time state singles champion Kelly Maslar, the Lakers completed an 18-0 season by defeating Moravian Academy 4-0 in Saturday’s championship final at the Hershey Racquet Club.
