Erie Times-News Breakout Football Player of the Week: Justin Dahl, Maplewood

Justin Dahl

Maplewood senior Justin Dahl contributed in any way that he could for the Tigers football team this fall.

The wide receiver/defensive back/kicker carried the ball six times, caught four passes for 91 yards and one touchdown and collected 32 tackles.

His biggest contribution, however, might have been on special teams. Dahl connected on 11 extra points this season and three field goals while averaging 32.7 yards per punt.

Among his three field goals was a clutch fourth-quarter kick last week to help a struggling Maplewood team beat Kennedy Catholic 9-6 and end the season on a high note.
