Football sites set for next weekend

Slippery Rock’s Mihalik-Thompson Stadium will host four football games next weekend while Veterans Stadium will have one. The District 10 Class AAA championship between Cathedral Prep and General McLane will be played Friday at Veterans Stadium, while West Middlesex and Sharpsville kick off the weekend at SRU at 7 p.m. Saturday features McDowell and State College at 1 p.m. in the first round of the PIAA playoffs followed by Hickory and Wilmington at 7 p.m. for the D-10 Class AA championship.

Class A championship
At Slippery Rock’s Mihalik-Thompson Stadium
West Middlesex vs. Sharpsville, 7 p.m.
Class AAA championship
At Veterans Stadium
Cathedral Prep vs. General McLane, 7 p.m.

Class AA championship
