The Fort LeBoeuf girls volleyball team became the first District 10 program from outside Crawford County to win a PIAA championship when it claimed the 2012 Class AA title Nov. 17. The Bison concluded their 21-0 season with a 25-20, 15-25, 25-20, 25-23 victory over the Delone Catholic Squirettes at Central York High School.
