Archbishop Wood is loaded with college prospects

The Cathedral Prep football team is one win from its second state championship in program history. The Ramblers will face a tough task next week against defending state champion Archbishop Wood. The Vikings crushed Bishop McDevitt 52-0 in last year’s state championship. Although Wood was hit hard by graduation, it is still loaded with college prospects. Here is a list of players to watch next week:

Nick Arcidiacono, 6-4, 230, sr., TE – Committed to Rutgers. Also had offers from Boston College, Bowling Green, Buffalo, Delaware, Kent State, Lafayette, Lehigh, Temple.
Nick Visco, 6-2, 195, sr., K – Interest from Auburn, Boston College, Georgetown, Lehigh, Maryland, Massachusetts, Ohio, Penn State, Rutgers
Deion Oliver, 6-5, 275, jr., OL – Interest from N.C. State, Pitt, Rutgers, Temple
Jake Cooper, 6-2, 230, so., LB – Interest from Boston College, Penn State, Rutgers, Temple

And those are only the major college football recruits. Check out more on Archbishop Wood and their showdown with Cathedral Prep throughout the week.
