Cathedral Prep football moves up to No. 17 in national rankings

Cathedral Prep’s 24-14 win over Archbishop Wood has received national attention. The Ramblers have moved up to No. 17 in the USA Today Super 25 national rankings. Prep, which was ranked No. 19 last week, won its second PIAA championship with its win over Archbishop Wood on Friday in Hershey. North Allegheny, the PIAA Class AAAA champion, moved up from 15 to No. 12 after routing Coatesville 63-28 in the state championship. There are only two Top 25 teams still playing and both are ahead of Prep.
