Cathedral Prep’s Terry, Mischler lead all-state honors

The Cathedral Prep football team had a banner year and the sports writers around the state recognized that Thursday. Damion Terry, the Ramblers’ quarterback bound for Michigan State, was named to the Class AAA Player of the Year and coach Mike Mischler was named the Class AAA Coach of the Year as the Pennsylvania Sports Writers All-State Class AAA and AAAA teams were released. John Chereson, Jake Plonski, Delton Williams and Erik Swanson were also honored from Prep along with General McLane’s Quinn Thompson and Warren’s Austin Jerman. For McDowell, James Conner and Scot Augustine were named to the Class AAAA all-state team.

Check Friday’s edition of the Erie Times-News for more on each selection.
