Erie Times-News Breakout Girls Basketball Player of the Week: Nikki Arbanas, Hickory

Nikki Arbanas

Nikki Arbanas has emerged as a top player in District 10 and is still only a junior.

The quick 5-foot 7-inch guard was a leader for Hickory last winter as the Hornets made their way to the District 10 Class AAA semifinals. She has continued that strong play to start the season.

Arbanas scored 18 points in a 58-34 win over Clarion before dropping 18 in a 57-31 win against Kittanning. She followed those performances up with 17 points in a 60-11 win over Central Tech and has the Hornets hungry to get back to the D-10 playoffs.
