The Grove City girls basketball team is young this season, but if sophomores like Jordyn Wyllie continue to play well, the Eagles could be a force down the line. Wyllie, a 5-foot 10-inch forward, is off to a fast start this season and is Grove City’s second-leading scorer at 9 points per game. Her season highlight came in an important 59-40 region win over Meadville. Wyllie dropped 23 points to lead Grove City over the Bulldogs. The Eagles have a brutal region to rebuild in, with Franklin and Hickory, but Wyllie is a reason for Grove City fans to be hopeful for the future.
