Congratulations to the Breakout Athletes of the Week

2013 is off to a quick start with three more breakout athletes crowned this week. Logan Kallay represented Erie First well with the boys basketball poll, while Mercyhurst Prep’s Chloe Wright has stepped in for the Lakers. She won the girls poll after a terrific performance in Maryland with fellow forward Brenna Robbins out with injury. Meadville’s Zach Luben grabbed the wrestling poll.

Reminder to all fans, you have the power to nominate athletes every week. Send an e-mail to sports@timesnews.com by 5 p.m. each Saturday with reasons why your athlete should be considered.
