Erie Times-News Breakout Girls Basketball Player of the Week: Alex Ricketts, Kennedy Catholic

Alex Ricketts has made headlines for Kennedy Catholic over the past few years. The Division I recruit has been one of the top players in Mercer County and was rewarded in the offseason with an offer from Akron. The 5-foot 11-inch guard/forward signed with the Zips and will look to lead the Golden Eagles to another District 10 Class A championship this winter. She recently scored 16 points and hit several clutch free throws in a 43-38 win over Girard and averages 16.3 points per game.
