Erie Times-News Breakout Boys Swimmer/Diver of the Week: Branden Smith, Iroquois

Branden Smith

Branden Smith gained valuable experience swimming for Iroquois in the District 10 championship meet as a sophomore.

This winter, the junior is looking to break through and earn some medals. Smith is off to a terrific start, including three event wins in a sweep of Corry. He took home the 50 free and 100 backstroke and was part of the winning 400 free relay team.

Smith followed that up with four event wins against Girard and has become a big part of the Braves’ program.
