Iroquois sophomore Shane Kaliszewski is making an impact this season for the Braves’ swimming team.
Kaliszewski recently won four events in a sweep of General McLane, including the 100 butterfly and 200 IM. He swam the 100 butterfly in 59.09 seconds and the 200 IM in 2 minutes, 17.09 seconds. Kaliszewski also participated in the winning 200 free (1:41.03) and 400 free (3:44.87) relay teams.
He then won three more events in his team’s loss to Harbor Creek on Monday and has become a vital part of the Braves’ program.
