D10 has once again arranged to give Mercyhurst Prep a easy road to the D10 title. They should be playing Fairview instead of Sharpsville. Saegertown has a better record but Prep the easier game. Must be nice to have D10 in your pocket.
Josey,
Teams from the same region do not play each other in the first round.
Thanks,
Tom
First Susan, the MP girls didnt even win their region so I have no idea what you are talking about with the bye. As for HC the Villa varsity beat them by 50 and the Villa jv won I believe by 50 so I dont think that is close to being true.
Its amazing how every year west middlesex gets to play tourney games in mercer county year after year.
Tom,
I still want to know what district 10 is thinking with 2 region champs playing each other in the first round. Do they think our region is weaker? I believe one of McLane’s losses came from our region(Conneaut). Seems very unfair!
jeff,
WM keeps winning region titles. When you win region titles you get to play near home.
Thanks,
Tom
Brian,
I believe Saegertown’s region title was downgraded a bit with three region losses and the region featured Class A teams. Either way, Saegertown was going to have to play a Region 4 team.
Thanks,
Tom
thier 3 losses were 2 to a AAA school and one to Cochranton. They got hosed and the D10 is just making excuses. They should be where Mercer is on the bracket. I dont see Cochranton being downgraded to playing the best team in thier bracket.
1)Why are people crying about seeding. Just win. If you cant then you shouldnt be there in the first place.
2) HC girls fans. Your team is not that good. When you lose by fifty twice to a team in your region and dont beat anyone else you will always be on the bubble.
3) Who is susan and why is she complaining about byes. The girls did not even win their own region.
4) As for the WM and Gm boys. When you win you get the spoils of playing at home or near home.
Its not that hard.
gball says it all take care of business all year then you don’t have to worry about it
