idk about SV beating meadville, especially after what they were able to do this year and the teams they beat (excluding losses from oil city and GC) price and clune have the potential to lead this team to the finals. but i guess this is goerie.com and not gocrawford.com. i prefer the underdog story anyway

  2. Tom Reisenweber says:

Believe me when I tell you that what site this is and where teams are from have nothing to do with predictions. I think that game will come down to if Meadville can handle a fullcourt trap when SV goes to it.

    Thanks,
    Tom

I agree with that comment to some extent Tom, mostly because you believe Saegertown and Fairview will be a good game. But what about a couple years ago when Cambirdge came into playoffs with a 17-5 record playing fairview and everyon wrote them off. Not only that Fairview had HALF the amount of fouls called on them as cambirdge did, scoring 30 + points from the line. Yet no one said anything about the fouls. The very next year those cambridge boys beat a district runner up northeast team, and you along with many other Erie Critics write it off and say they heard they won because of foul trouble and it was a fluke. Were you even at either of those games? I attended both.

I think Girard is going to have a tough time with Sharon. The are playing at McComb which is a huge floor and Sharon has some speed and athletes. It is hard defend when you are spread out on the floor.

  5. Jon B says:

I think Hickory and Girard will win by more than your predicted outcomes. The SV score seems about right to me though. The Farrell/GM score seems way off. I have Farrell by 4-6. Too athletic.

  6. Tom Reisenweber says:

Ironically, the large floor is what did in Sharon last year.

  7. Tom Reisenweber says:

Can you show me one place where I ever called a game a “fluke” or ever said a game was won because of the amount of fouls called? Grouping me in with the conspiracy theorists is definitely wrong.

Besides, if I was only picking Erie teams, why do I have Hickory beating East?

    Thanks,
    Tom
