Erie Times-News Breakout Girls Basketball Player of the Week: Karissa Cratty, Youngsville

Karissa Cratty should have Youngsville girls basketball fans excited for the near future.

The 5-foot 7-inch sophomore was a standout player for a young Eagles team that learned a new system under a new head coach this year.

Cratty is a big part of the future after scoring 9.8 points per game this season. She was second on the team with 5.2 rebounds per game and led the Eagles with 35 steals and 21 blocks.

Against Venango Catholic, she had 23 points, five rebounds, two steals and one block and is on her way to becoming one of the top players in Warren County.
