Dogan highlights boys basketball all-state selections

West Middlesex standout Matthew Dogan finished his career as the fourth all-time scorer in District 10 history. The Gannon recruit also led the Big Reds to another District 10 championship and his efforts were rewarded today as he was named Class AA first-team all-state by the Pennsylvania Sports Writers.

General McLane’s Jaymon Mason and Cathedral Prep’s Sheldon Zablotny were also honored. Mason, the District 10 Player of the Year, was named to the Class AAA second team and Zablotny to the Class AAAA second team. All three finish with two all-state selections with back-to-back outstanding seasons. Zablotny was third team last year and is Prep’s second-leading scorer in school history. Mason was named to the second team last year and Dogan was a first-team selection in Class A.
