Erie Times-News Breakout Team of the Week nominees

Fans can vote for the Breakout Team of the Week on the top right corner of the page. Voting continues through Friday at 4:59 p.m. with the winner being featured Sunday in the Erie Times-News. Teams who have won the award this season are no longer eligible. Fans are encouraged to nominate teams by 5 p.m. each Tuesday.

Fairview boys tennis – The Tigers moved to 6-1 on Monday with a sweep of Harbor Creek.
McDowell boys tennis – The Trojans swept Lockport to improve to 6-1.
Cathedral Prep tennis – Came in second at the Altoona Invitational over the weekend.
Harbor Creek girls track and field – The Huskies won the Fairview Invitational.
Girard boys track and field – The YellowJackets won the Fairview Invitational.
East baseball - The Warriors won two games this past week, including their first in years.
Titusville baseball – The Rockets moved to 3-0 with a win over Seneca.
Harbor Creek baseball – The Huskies held off Seneca 11-10 to win their third game of the season.
McDowell baseball – The Trojans had a huge spring trip and have only lost to powerhouse teams this season.
Cathedral Prep baseball - The Ramblers dominated during their trip to Arizona.
Saegertown baseball – The Panthers look like a strong favorite in Class AA.
Fairview softball – Held off Northwestern Tuesday to remain perfect at 4-0.
Harbor Creek softball – The Huskies moved to 3-1 on Tuesday and have a showdown with Fairview coming up.
McDowell softball – Moved to 4-0 on Tuesday.
Warren softball – The Dragons are playing well this season.
Saegertown softball – The Panthers are rolling to start the season.
