* Cathedral Prep’s Michal Prenovitz and Nate Estes rallied to win the District 10 Class AAA doubles final 2-6, 6-1, 6-4 over McDowell’s T.J. DeSanto and Nick Donovan. Warren’s Nate and Matt Sandberg swept Fairview’s Jon Oskin and Ben Westcott 6-2, 6-3 for the Class AA title.

* There will be a third set in the Class AAA final, as Prep’s Michal Prenovitz and Nate Estes won 6-1. Warren’s Nate and Matt Sandberg won the first set of the Class AA final.

* McDowell’s T.J. DeSanto and Nick Donovan won the first set of the Class AAA final by a 6-2 score. Great net play by the Trojans’ seniors.

* Fairview freshmen Jon Oskin and Ben Westcott will play for the District 10 Class AA doubles title against Warren’s Matt and Nate Sandberg.

* The AA final has been officially scheduled to start at 3 p.m. The second semifinal is still on court.

* The top-seeded Warren duo of Matt and Nate Sandberg have advanced to the District 10 Class AA doubles final with a victory over Greenville’s Chad Ferguson and Seth Jaussen.

* The District 10 Class AAA boys doubles final is projected to start at 2:30 p.m. That match will pit No. 1 Cathedral Prep I (Michal Prenovitz-Nate Estes) vs. No. 2 McDowell I (T.J. DeSanto-Nick Donovan).

* McDowell’s T.J. DeSanto and Nick Donovan are the first team into a District 10 final. They’ll play for the AAA title at a time to be determined.

* A reminder that the semifinals are 10-game pro sets.

* The AA semifinals are scheduled to start at 1:15 p.m. It’s No. 5 Mercyhurst Prep I vs. No. 2 Fairview I, with No. 1 Warren I and No. 3 Greenville I on an adjacent court.

* The No. 5 Mercyhurst Prep team of Ryan Campbell and Alex Schroeck recorded a mini-upset, as they eliminated the No. 4 Warren II team of Nick Tarpenning and Grayson Foley 9-7 in the AA quarterfinals.

* Tournament director Kelly Maslar has scheduled the AAA semifinal matches to start at 12:50 p.m.

* The AAA semifinals have been determined, with Prep’s three teams and the McDowell I team all advancing.

* One AA semifinal is set, with No. 1 Warren I set to face No. 3 Greenville I.

* The No. 2 McDowell I team of T.J. DeSanto and Nick Donovan bageled the Meadville III team in the AAA quarterfinals.

* Top seeds Michal Prenovitz and Nate Estes of Cathedral Prep eliminate the McDowell II team of Jay Rathinavelu and Chris Jiuliante 8-3 in the AAA quarterfinals.

* The AAA quarterfinals are complete, with the Oil City I and Meadville III teams advancing to the quarterfinals in the bottom half of the draw.

* The McDowell II and III doubles teams advanced to the AAA quarterfinals.

* Form has held in Class AA, as all seven seeded teams, plus the Hickory I duo of Ross Rosati and Michael Funera, advanced to the quarterfinals.

* Expect a lull in updates, as the first serves are being struck on all eight of Pennbriar’s courts.

* The AA first round is now complete with the Kennedy Catholic II team beating the Girard II team of Vladimir Sagan and Logan Peyton 8-6.

* Receiving byes into the Class AAA quarterfinals are No. 1 Cathedral Prep I, No. 2 McDowell I, No. 3 Cathedral Prep II and No. 4 Cathedral Prep III.

* The draw has been posted for the Class AAA tournament, which is scheduled to start at 11 a.m. The top seed is the Cathedral Prep I team of Michal Prenovitz and Nate Estes.

* The seven seeded teams for the Class AA tournament have all advanced to the second round. The No. 2 Fairview I team of Jon Oskin and Ben Westcott still await their second-round opponent, either Girard II or Kennedy Catholic I.

* Advancing as Erie County entrants are Mercyhurst Prep’s Ryan Campbell and Alex Schroeck, who are seeded fifth, and Harbor Creek’s Kyle Thomas and Hunter Kelly.

* The Class AAA teams have arrived for the start of their tournament at 11 a.m. The coaches are currently formulating the draw.

* The Mercyhurst Prep II team of Carson Derrow and Josh Ott take their pro-set tiebreaker over the Grove City II team of Dylan Motta and Chris Adams for a 9-8 victory in the first round.

* The No. 6 Fairview II team of Trist Tuttle and Andrew Levin win 8-0 in the first round.

* The top four seeds, No. 1 Warren I, No. 2 Fairview I, No. 3 Greenville I and No. 4 Warren II, all received first-round byes.

* The Harbor Creek II team of Nick Hesch and Celeste Bentley have advanced and will play the top-seeded Warren I team of Matt and Nick Sandberg in the second r0und.

* Warren boasts the top seed in the Class AA brackets. Matches in the small-school tournament began at 9 a.m., with the Class AAA tournament scheduled to begin at 11 a.m.
