Outlook: John Chapman, the current boys volleyball coach, takes over the girls volleyball program this fall in hopes of turning it around. After a winless season in 2010, the Indians are looking to rebuild quickly. Valley lost Mandi Linz and Kayleigh Adamson to graduation but the Indians return seniors Kelly Boyce and Alexis Teed along with up-and-coming sophomore Kristen Baker. Winning in a brutal Class A region won’t be easy, but developing the program will be the most important thing this season. The Indians won’t turn into a region contender overnight but if they can develop some of the underclassmen in camp, they could surprise a few teams along the way this season.
