Get previews of all District 10 football teams in 2012 Kickoff magazine

2012 Kickoff cover

Central Tech team page

The 2012 Kickoff magazine will be available by the end of this week at all northwestern Pennsylvania Country Fair locations. (Readers might see it in some stores as early as today.)

What is Kickoff? It’s District 10′s most comprehensive high school football season preview.

All week, we’ll be giving fans a sneak peek of Kickoff on the Varsity blog. Today, we’ll look at the team preview pages.

Each District 10 team will have its own preview. (Above is a Central Tech team page.) The team preview pages feature a football card of a premier player, the team’s schedule, a look at the offense, defense and an overall outlook. (All Erie County teams feature an extra page of preview information.) Fans can see a list of potential returning players from 2011 — final 2012 rosters for a large majority of teams are not available from coaches until next week. We also provide 2011 results and team leaders, a 10-year rundown of team records and many photos of key players.

This is the third edition of Kickoff produced by the Erie Times-News, and we believe it’s our best. Fans can get 116 pages packed with information, feature stories and color photos, and it will be available for $5 by Friday at all area Country Fair stores.
