Joe Swanson
Swanson started showing signs of emerging as a top forward his sophomore season. As a junior, Swanson took that step forward in the playoffs.
The 6-foot 3-inch standout scored 18 points in an impressive 44-37 win over Meadville in a District 10 Class AAA play-in game.
He followed that up with six points in a 33-32 win over Grove City, including two free throws with 10.5 seconds left to secure the quarterfinal win.
He figures to be a key player for Girard next season.
