The PIAA Board of Directors passed a motion 29-2 to bring the basketball state championship games back to the Hershey Giant Center beginning this winter for the next four years. The championships had been played at Penn State’s Bryce Jordan Center since 2006. Penn State is trying to secure an NCAA women’s basketball regional and those dates would conflict with the PIAA championships in two of the next four years.
