McDowell safety Jon Pohl is the winner of this week’s Breakout Player of the Week award after he recorded five sacks Saturday during the first half of the Trojans’ 49-13 playoff win over DuBois.
Pohl edged Cathedral Prep quarterback Shyquawn Pullium in the voting on the Varsity blog.
Pohl will be featured in Friday’s sports edition.
