John Macken

John Macken will leave Saegertown as a big part of wrestling school history.

The senior had a crucial role in helping the Panthers make the PIAA Class AA team playoffs this winter and will be looking for more in the next few weekends during the individual tournaments.

Macken earned a pin in the 220-pound class as the Panthers beat Greenville for third place in District 10.

He also picked up a decision in a 31-25 loss to Boiling Springs in the first round of the PIAA tournament and had a major decision in a 47-17 win over Benton in the PIAA consolation first round.
