McDowell graduate Lori Williams was recently honored with the Kim Mahoney Award, given by the Ohio Scholastic Soccer Coaches Association to a female soccer coach in Ohio. Williams coaches the Anthony Wayne Lady Generals soccer team in Whitehouse, Ohio, who finished 10-7-0 this past fall. The award goes to a coach that represents the highest standards of sportsmanship, integrity and character. It is the most prestigious award the OHSAA selects each year.
