6:15 p.m. – McDowell’s volleyball team moves on after a 25-14, 25-17, 25-13 rout of DuBois in a PIAA Class AAAA subregional. Check back tonight for all PIAA Tuesday sites for soccer and volleyball.

5:44 p.m. – General McLane wins the D-10 title! The Lancers make a 1-0 lead stand up. It is GM’s third D-10 title and first since 2002.

5:37 p.m. – Dillen is out of position but Parker McDermott stops a shot! Nice play by the Lancer defense.

5:34 p.m. – 9 minutes left and GM is hanging on to its 1-0 lead. The Lancers look destined to win the D-10 title.

5:25 p.m. - Under 19 minutes left as GM is clinging to a 1-0 lead. Kirk Dillen is having a big game in goal for the Lancers.

5:17 p.m. – With 26:09 left Peter Keim scores unassisted! General McLane leads 1-0.

5:09 p.m. – 34 minutes left in this one with Slippery Rock starting to dominate play.

4:52 p.m. - Slippery Rock has a shot skid off the crossbar as time expires. GM and SR are scoreless through the first half.

4:42 p.m. - Fort LeBoeuf wins the final set 25-16 to secure the D-10 AA volleyball championship.

4:34 p.m. – Neither GM or SR can get much going on offense. 17 minutes left in the first half.

4:24 p.m. – Fort LeBoeuf takes the second set 25-23 and is one set from the D-10 volleyball title.

3:50 p.m. – Harbor Creek does it! Megan Yount with a sliding pass to Melissa Tarquinio who scores with 16:40 left in the second overtime! Harbor Creek beats Mercyhurst Prep 2-1. Both teams advance to the PIAA playoffs.

3:31 p.m. - We head to a second overtime as neither team can score in 20 minutes. Steph Corey actually came off the field with an injury to her face with one minute left. She will likely be back for the next overtime.

3:06 p.m. – Linesville claims the District 10 Class A volleyball title by winning the final set 25-16.

3:04 p.m. – We are headed to overtime at the Vet. Neither team could get a solid chance in the final 10 minutes. Overtime in the playoffs consists of two 20-minute periods before a shootout. A goal in overtime would win it as each period is sudden death.

2:54 p.m. - Olivia Augustyniak answers right back for Mercyhurst! She fired a shot from 25 yards to beat the keeper to the top of the net. 1-1 with 10 minutes left.

2:53 p.m. – Freshman Jenny Angelo scores to give Harbor Creek a 1-0 lead with 11 minutes left!

2:45 p.m. – Linesville wins the second set 25-17 and is one set from the D-10 Class A volleyball title.

2:40 p.m. – Tash Brigham with a huge save for the Huskies on a corner kick. 22 minutes left in regulation as MP and HC are still scoreless.

2:33 p.m. – 30 minutes left and Mercyhurst has controlled the action the entire second half. What a shift in momentum since halftime.

2:23 p.m. – Second half is underway and Linesville took the first set in the Class A volleyball championship 25-20.

2:11 p.m. – Halftime and MP and HC are in a scoreless tie. The Huskies have dominated play so far.

1:54 p.m. – No score from Veterans Stadium. Each team is putting together terrific chances but the keepers are standing tough. 16 minutes left in the first half.

1:35 p.m. – We are underway at the stadium and not much is happening yet. General McLane held off Harbor Creek in three sets to earn a spot in the D-10 Class AA volleyball championship. McLane will take on Fort LeBoeuf in another showdown.

1:12 p.m. – At Meadville High School, Fort LeBoeuf is in the volleyball D-10 championship after a sweep of Slippery Rock 25-21, 28-26. Linesville and Maplewood won their semifinal matches to renew their rivalry in the Class A championship.

1:11 p.m. – We are about 20 minutes from the start of action here at Veterans Stadium. The first match will be the District 10 Class AA girls championship between Harbor Creek and defending PIAA champion Mercyhurst Prep. The Class AA boys title game is scheduled to start at 3:30 p.m. between General McLane and Slippery Rock.
