Boys

Brent Benedict, Corry: The freshman won the 100-yard butterfly (53.88 seconds) and placed second in the 100 backstroke (54.59) at the Iroquois Invitational Saturday.
Adam Bleday,
Titusville: He won the 100 freestyle (49.96) at the Iroquois Invitational and placed second in the 50 free (22.41).
Phil Emerson,
Franklin: A premier District 10 sprinter, he placed first in the 50 freestyle (22.34) at the Iroquois Invitational.
Zack
France, Slippery Rock: Showed he will be a top contender at the District 10 Class AA championships when he won the 500 freestyle in the Iroquois Invitational in 5:16.22.
Kevin Intrieri, McDowell:
Won the 100 freestyle in 47.88 seconds in the Trojans’ loss to Cathedral Prep Tuesday. He also anchored the winning 200 medley relay and 400 freestyle relay teams.
Richard “R.J.” Petrella,
Fairview: The senior had four wins in the Iroquois Invitational, including record-setting efforts in the 200-yard individual medley (1:56.84) and 100 backstroke (54.15). He also swam on the winning 200 medley relay and 400 freestyle relay.
R.J. Rahner, Cathedral Prep:
Swam a strong 54.34 seconds in the 100 butterfly in Prep’s win over McDowell on Tuesday. He also was a member of the winning 400 freestyle relay team.
Griffin
Schaetzle, Mercyhurst Prep: The freshman won the 200 freestyle at the Iroquois Invitational with an impressive time of 1:47.77. He also placed third in the 100 backstroke (55.20).

Girls

Mylinda Hartnett, Meadville: She had wins four events in the Bulldogs’ 124-31 win over Central Tech Thursday. Hartnett won the 200 individual medley (2:27.51) and 100 breaststroke (1:14.77) and swam on the winning 200 medley relay and 400 free relay.
Makenna Haskins,
Union City: She touched first in the 100 freestyle (59.59) and swam the opening leg of the Bears’ 400 free relay against Iroquois Thursday.
Kathy Herman, North East:
She placed first in the 200 IM (2:29.21) and 500 free (5:48.24) in her team’s 107-70 win over General McLane. She also swam legs on the winning 200 medley relay and 200 free relay.
Caitlin Hollarn, Iroquois:
She won the 50 free (25.47) and anchored the first-place 200 medley relay in the Braves’ 98-63 win over Union City.
Mia Izzo, McDowell:
She won four events Tuesday in the Trojans’ 91-79 win over Villa Maria. Izzo finished first in the 200 free (2:04.76) and 500 free (5:38.67). She also swam on the first-place 200 free and 400 free relays.
Hollin Nies,
Fairview: She was a triple-winner in the Tigers’ 133-50 over Harbor Creek. Nies won the 200 IM (2:25.22) and 100 backstroke (1:05.50) and led off the winning 200 medley relay.
Abby Quinn, Villa Maria:
She had two wins in the Victors’ loss to McDowell Tuesday, including Villa’s only individual victory in the 100 butterfly (1:03.62). She also was a member of the winning 200 medley relay.
Madeline Zarger, Harbor Creek
: For the second consecutive week, she set a school record in the 500-yard freestyle. This time she swam the event in 5:36.27 in the Huskies’ loss to Fairview Thursday.
