with gas prices soaring, why bother with the charade of having Hampton travel to North Allegheny (10 miles?) to face Warren? It’s a waste of money to have them fire up a bus, just have Warren play them at Hampton. We’re traveling a good 125 miles anyways? Why not 10 more? Given that their both #2 seeds, as well?

      Dave,
Solid comment. I agree the travel is ridiculous. The only thing I can think of in this situation is Hampton is considered the home team because they are on the top side of the bracket. That means the game has to be in District 7. I believe North Allegheny is the northern-most site in D-7 so it doesn’t work out well for Warren.

      Thanks,
      Tom
