Mercer football recruits commit to colleges

The Mercer football program continues to produce college talent as four

players have made their commitment. All-time leading rusher Kyle Mariacher will head to Philippi (W.Va.) to compete for coach Dennis Creehan at Alderson-Broaddus. Alderson-Broaddus will start its football program in the fall and compete in junior varsity schedule this season. They will move into the WVIAC as a full-fledged member of Divison II in 2013.

Waynesburg picked up the other three recruits from Mercer. R.J. Swartz (OL/DL), Billy Selders (FB/LB) and Joe Hess (RB/DE) have all committed to Waynesburg, a member of the PAC.
