Update No. 31
The wheels are falling off for Cochranton. Sherman singled to put runners on first and second for Linesville before a single to center by Jon Onderko. His hit gets through the fielder’s legs, allowing two runs to score and Onderko ends up on third. 7-5 Linesville with runners on first and third and one out.

Update No. 30
Linesville answers right back. Benfield leads off with a single and advances to second on a throwing error. He takes third on a perfect bunt single by Adrian Onderko and comes home on a fielder’s choice. 5-5

Update No. 29
Cochranton tries to tack on another run with a suicide squeeze but Peterson can’t get the bunt down. Staudt appeared to beat the throw at home anyway but he is out. After 5, Cochranton leads 5-4.

Update No. 28
A strange play gives Cochranton a 5-4 lead. The Cardinals had runners on first and third after an intentional walk to Jesse Staudt. Staudt breaks late for second and stands midway between the bases to draw a throw. Sherman throws it into rightfield to allow Nageotte to score. 5-4 Cochranton
