Coach (season, record): Mike Hahsey and Paul Cousins (3rd, 25-7)
2011-12 overall record: 11-6
2011-12 region record: 6-2
Top wrestlers lost: Garrett Chase (PIAA 8th-place finisher at 152 pounds), Daniel Yori (PIAA qualifier at 132).
Top wrestlers returning (2011-12 weight): Jake Gromacki (PIAA 6th-place finisher at 106), Nate Carlin (NW Region qualifier at 285), Jordan Perkowski (160), Chuckie Bizzarro, Teagan O’Sullivan (138), James Trucilla (220), Connor Wurst, Beau Coletta (NW Region qualifier at 126), Alex Root (120), Andy Hutzel (145), Dan Krysiak (NW Region qualifier at 145), Kyle Volkman.
Assistant coaches: Brian Markley, Tony Parsons, Tyler Parsons, Jeff Scibetta, Jim Schoonover, Jason Beer, Dave DeFazio, Dan Oler.
Outlook: The Ramblers expect to receive another infusion of talent from this year’s freshman class, and they should improve as the season goes on. Gromacki is the district’s top returning PIAA place-winner, but he could have company in Hershey if returning regional qualifiers Nate Carlin, Beau Coletta and Dan Krysiak can each take the next step this season. The Ramblers were third in the team race at the D-10 individual tournament and lost their first-round district team dual meet match to General McLane. If the lineup comes together early, they could begin to close the gap on McDowell and General McLane.

Coach (season, record): Kevin Drew (13th, 147-49)
2011-12 overall record: 2-15
2011-12 region record: 0-8
Top wrestlers lost: Ian Anthony, Colby Boozer.
Top wrestlers returning (2011-12 weight): Tyler Osborne (145-152).
Assistant coaches: Dan McQuiston, Brian Hooks, John Amon.
Outlook: The Panthers continue a third season of retooling in the wake of the program’s outstanding 2009-10 campaign, when Commodore Perry had three regional champs and a pair of PIAA place-winners in state champion Stephen Ceremuga and sixth-place medalist Brian Hooks. Osborne was a section semifinalist last season and leads a group that will be young and largely inexperienced at the varsity level. Tony Leonard posted a near-.500 record as a freshman at 120 pounds last season. Drew is preaching a rebuilding mindset, and patience will be a key for the Panthers as the young starters settle into the lineup.
