Archbishop Wood is loaded with college prospects

The Cathedral Prep football team is one win from its second state championship in program history. The Ramblers will face a tough task next week against defending state champion Archbishop Wood. The Vikings crushed Bishop McDevitt 52-0 in last year’s state championship. Although Wood was hit hard by graduation, it is still loaded with college prospects. Here is a list of players to watch next week:

Nick Arcidiacono, 6-4, 230, sr., TE – Committed to Rutgers. Also had offers from Boston College, Bowling Green, Buffalo, Delaware, Kent State, Lafayette, Lehigh, Temple.
Nick Visco, 6-2, 195, sr., K – Interest from Auburn, Boston College, Georgetown, Lehigh, Maryland, Massachusetts, Ohio, Penn State, Rutgers
Deion Oliver, 6-5, 275, jr., OL – Interest from N.C. State, Pitt, Rutgers, Temple
Jake Cooper, 6-2, 230, so., LB – Interest from Boston College, Penn State, Rutgers, Temple
