Danny Miller, Mercer - Struck out five in four innings to pick up a win in the 8-3 win over Jamestown. He also had three hits for the Mustangs.
Matt Jones, Commodore Perry – Struck out five in three no-hit innings to earn a win in an 11-1 five-inning win over Sharpsville.
Vinnie Shaffer, Sharon – Crushed a two-run double in the 10th inning to lift the Tigers to an 8-6 win over Hickory.
Mike Ginther, West Middlesex – Struck out 11 in a one-hitter as he Big Reds beat Mercer 6-0.
Jordan Anderson, Grove City – Went 4-for-4 and drove in two runs as the Eagles beat Mercer 9-0.
Ross Llewellyn, Sharpsville – Finished with three hits, three runs scored and two stolen bases in a 12-7 win over Lakeview.
Travis Brumbaugh, Wilmington – Struck out 11 and allowed just four hits on the mound to pick up the win in a 2-1 win over Reynolds. He also doubled and scored both Greyhound runs.
Breck Schneider, Rocky Grove – Drove in four runs, including a two-run homer and a two-run double in an 11-1 win over Venango Catholic.
Chris Kahle, Franklin - Had an RBI single in the bottom of the seventh inning to give the Knights a 3-2 win over Seneca.
Nolan Roberts, Fairview – Pitched a complete-game, three-hitter with 16 strikeouts in the Tigers’ 8-0 victory over Iroquois.
Andrew Heitzenrater, Harbor Creek – Went 3-for-3, including a home run, with two runs scored and two RBIs in the Huskies’ 9-1 victory over Slippery Rock.
Zach Borsa, McDowell - Doubled, tripled and totaled three RBIs in the Trojans’ 9-3 victory at Upper St. Clair on.
Tyler Hendricks, General McLane - Had three doubles and six RBIs during the Lancers’ doubleheader sweep of Cambridge Springs on April 6.
Jordyn Allen, West Middlesex – Struck out six in five innings to pick up a complete-game win on the mound. She also had two hits and scored three runs.
McKenzie Popatak, Sharpsville – Had three hits and drove in the winning run with an RBI single in the seventh as the Blue Devils walked off with a 12-11 win over Grove City. She also had a home run and a single in a 15-5 win over Cambridge Springs.
Melissa Shoemaker, Mercer - Tossed a no-hitter with seven strikeouts in a 14-4 win over Reynolds.
Abby Sotter, Wilmington – Struck out eight and walked one in a complete-game win as the Greyhounds beat Kennedy Catholic 13-3 in five innings.
Aubriana Dellibovi, Sharon – Had two doubles and drove in five runs in a 19-3 win over Slippery Rock.
Jessica Arnold, Jamestown – Drove in the game-winning run with a single in a 4-3 win over Cambridge Springs in 10 innings.
Shana Grosch, Titusville – Homered and picked up the win on the mound in a 17-2 win over Grove City.
Morgan McBride, Hickory – Had four hits, including two home runs, in two wins over Fort Mill.

Haley Hess, Strong Vincent – Hit a solo home run and pitched a complete-game, one-hitter with 11 strikeouts in the Colonels’ 2-1 victory over Central Tech.

John Yohman, Wilmington – Won the discus and shot put at the South Hills Classic at Baldwin High School.
Curtis Jones, Mercyhurst Prep – Won the long jump (20 feet) and the triple jump (41-3 1/2) at the Fairview Kiwanis Club Invitational.
Greg Miaczynski, Central Tech – Won the 110-meter hurdles (15.02 seconds), the 300 hurldes (39.92) and the 200 dash (23.87) at the Fairview Kiwanis Club.
Marcus Connors, Girard – Helped the YellowJackets win the team title at the Fairview Kiwanis Club Invitational on April 6 with victories in the 400 (52.54 seconds) as as the first leg of their 1,600 relay (3:36.55).
Ryan Smathers, North East – Won the 800 (1:58.61) and the 1,600 (4:26.74) at the Fairview Kiwanis Club Invitational.
Jamie Szymczak, McDowell – Won the triple jump (44 feet, 7 inches) at Baldwin High School’s South Hills Classic.

Tess Sikora, Wilmington – Won three events in a win over Farrell.
Kristen White, West Middlesex – Set a school record in the 1,600 with a time of 5:27.7 against Reynolds. She also won two other events.
Lauren Decker, Grove City - Won three events in a tie with Hickory.
Sarah Kupniewski, Mercyhurst Prep – Ran the anchor leg of the victorious 3,200-meter relay (10:31.91) and opening leg of the 1,600 relay (4:34.43) for the Lakers during the Fairview Kiwanis Club Invitational on April 6. She also won the meet’s 800 in 2:34.02.
Sophia Fustos, Hickory – Won the shot put (39 feet) and the discus (108-7) at the Fairview Kiwanis Club Invitational.
Nia Clark, Fairview – Won the 100- (13.36) and the 200-meter (27.91) dashes at the Fairview Kiwanis Club Invitational.
Matt Welker, Grove City tennis – Won the No. 1 singles match in a sweep of Meadville. He also won the No. 1 singles matches against Oil City and Greenville.
Ross Rosati, Hickory tennis – Picked up a three-set win in No. 1 singles against Kennedy Catholic.
Austin Pickens, Farrell volleyball - Had 17 kills in a five-set win over Fort LeBoeuf.
Shannon Daugherty, Titusville tennis – Won the No. 1 singles match in a win over Oil City.
Brian Dailey, Cathedral Prep lacrosse – Scored five goals in the Ramblers’ 17-6 victory at Fairview.
Shane Burns, Warren tennis – His 6-0, 6-1 victory over Harbor Creek’s Trevor Osborne in No. 1 singles aided the Dragons to a 4-1 victory over the Huskies that also left them 4-0 overall.
Gabriella Humphrey, Fairview girls lacrosse – Scored five goals in the Tigers’ season-opening 12-6 victory over Gilmour Academy of Ohio.
